From its inception, it has been the place where the family business of the owners flourished for three generations, the L'artos restaurant. The name of the restaurant adds its own symbolic touch as it is a wordplay on the ancient village of Lartos (modern-day Lardos) and the words 'laros' (tasty) and 'artos' (bread).
In this context, we wanted to create a dining space that would combine simple design with evident Italian roots while showcasing modern credentials at the same time. Following the principles of Mediterranean modern design, leveraging elements of the area such as the renowned ancient Lartian stone and wood, using earthy tones, elegant decorative details, and traditional references; we managed to blend the grandiose style of the entrance with its green courtyard to create a harmonious and contemporary restaurant.
